Hello! Nice to have you stop by….have a seat and stay a while.

I’m Sarah. Sarah Jane. My childhood has come back in use as the name of my shop selling vintage inspired art and stationery for families. I am an artist and mother of 3 young children, and love to create designs that remind us all of the charming life of childhood.

My ETSY shop opened in October of 2007 and from that point, life has been full creating new designs, stuffing envelopes to customers all around the world, building a team of great gals I love to work with, and starting a career in children’s book illustration.

My resume is small, but my days are full working on up and coming projects! My first publication,  FULL OF LIFE (by Nancy O’Dell of Access Hollywood, and published by Simon and Schuester came out April 2009.  I am currently illustrating the children’s picture book CHRISTMAS GOODNIGHT written by Laura Godwin, Published with Katherine Tegan books, and imprint of Harper Collins, which will be release Fall 2011. I absolutely love the world of publishing, and hope to illustrate many more books in the future!

This blog is a place for me to document the busy and beauitful life I live: a wife, illustrator and mother of 3 very young children, as well a to offer new inspiration, free downloads and  ideas with anything that mixes children, design, books, illustration, making, creative living and motherhood. My life is where all these meet…and it’s pretty wonderful. I am truly blessed!
